Visit Shkodra one of the oldest citys in Albania that dates back to 4th ceuntry B.C,that lays by the magnificant Shkodra’s lake,the biggest one in Balkans.Also known as city of bikes,and the high importance of Albanian culture.
The ancient Rozafa Fortress has stunning views over Lake Shkodra, while the pastel-painted buildings in the Old Town have a distinct Italian ambience. Discover the fascinating legends of the Albanian Epos and how it relates to the castle’s history.
Marvel at the city famous for its typical architecture, sense of humor, and friendly atmosphere, it is one of the most important city centers of Albania. Take in the religious diversity of the city where one can find a Catholic Church, Orthodox Church, and Muslim Mosque next to each other.

Depart from Tirana at 9:00 am and we will be driving to Shkodra for around 2 hours.Stop for a coffee break by the wonderful Shkodra’s lake,and after we will visit the old castle.There we will learn about the fascinating legends of the Albanian Epos and how it relates to the castle's history.
After the visit of the Shkodra’s castle,we will drive towards Theth on a beautiful mountainous swirly road for about 1 hour and a half.We will accommodate in the guesthouse and get ready for excploring the village.Firstly we will walk by the riverside and hike to the amazing Grunas waterfall,afterwards we will hike towards the canions.We will head to Lock-in Tower,where you will learn about the 400 year old history and the function it was used.We will visit the unusual and beautiful church built in 1892 and still at the same spot with the same foundations until this very day.After we will head beck to the guesthouse and have free time for the evening.
On the day two,after we will have the traditional Albanian breakfast,we will drive to “Vaskat Nderlysaj” where we will start the hike to the Blue Eye.There we will have our time to enjoy the nature and to swim in the ice-cold water.Afterwards we will start driving back to Shkodra,where we will visit “Pedonale”,the old town of the city where we can go for a walk and enjoy a coffee in that lovely atmosphere.This will be the end of our amazing tour,and we will head back to Tirana.
